Travel App UX/UI Design and WordPress Development

Overview

This is a full-stack design and development project series. After the initial designer left the project, I took over and completed the UI design of the mobile app. Additionally, I created the design system, developed the travel tips site and app landing page using WordPress.

Briefly, this is a travel app UX/UI design and WordPress website development project.

Main Goal

Co-founders of Vayabo aimed to create the MVP version of their mobile app, along with a landing page and a separate travel tips website.

Process

This is a travel app UX/UI design and WordPress development project.

UX/UI Design

I began with benchmarking and netnography to understand the market and user needs. Following that, I created wireframes for the app.

The designer started to create the UI design based on these wireframes. After he left the project, I finalized the UI design.

In addition to the UI design, I also created a design system for the interface.

 

UX Research

After completing the first version of the app, I created a prototype and conducted UX research with the target audience to gather their initial thoughts and insights. Based on user feedback, we improved the app design.

Next, we conducted another UX research session to validate our changes and further enhance the design and usability.

 

WordPress Development

I developed the app’s landing page and the Vayabo travel tips site.

UX RESEARCH & CUSTOMER JOURNEY MAPPING

Leader e-Commerce Website in Turkey

In this UX project, I was a member of the UX team in an agency and was responsible to conduct UX research before creating a customer journey map. The purpose of the project was understanding user behaviors and getting user insights in the mom-child category.

UX RESEARCH & ACCESSIBILITY

One of the Top 3 Banks of Turkey

This project was about improving the usability of the mobile banking app for users who suffer from visual impairment. I conducted usability testing sessions with these users by screen sharing and VoiceOver, the screen reader built into Apple devices.

ContactMonkey

I audited the existing website of ContactMonkey. After this audit and benchmark of competitors, I recommended some UX and CRO improvements.

ashure

I developed the website of ashure, a manufacturer of a traditional Turkish dessert in the USA. I collaborated with one of my freelancer fellows for the branding of the product including logo and packaging designs.
